I have a 21' Team Shadow. It weighs in @ 2300 lbs.
I run a 2.5 efi offshore. 6 inches of setback.
CMC hydraulic jackplate. With a 24p 4 blade turbo 2+2 ss my rpm is only getting up to 6500.
And not any higher with a 3 blade 24p chopper.
Is this hurting my motor? should I prop it down and let it rev higher?

You are bogging that motor when running it at 6500.You must get it to rev to around 7600.When running at 6500 it's like going up hill in 5th gear.

Try a 22" three blade or a 21" three blade or four blade. Skaterfast is right. Try peddling your mountain bike up hill in a high gear.

That motor should turn the 3-blade 24p more than 6500.... Try Dreamin's idea, but something else sounds like it's not right...
Is that a MOD-VEE hull? And do the plugs look good, if you ran it much, those plugs might be fouled, and that be the reason it won't turn the 24p 3-blade...
just my two cents worth!!!!GOOD LUCK.
