Fast moving fire on the hill between Menifee and Murrieta. I'll post pics in a minute.

Hope they get it knocked down soon. They claiming this going to be the worse fire season on record.

All sage up there, and real thick also. I'm guessing some stucture went up already as we saw a lot of black smoke all of a sudden.

Sweet, I guess I'll be stuck on the 91 to Corona when I get off of work at 7:(

I don't think it will be a problem for you, Nord. It's about 30-40 miles south of Corona. It'd have to be moving REALLY fast :D
It's still going pretty good, but they've knocked it back considerably.

The news just said no homes were burned and none being evacuated, hope they can clear this up quick.

the black smoke was maybe chaparral or another brush full of oil. eucalyptus burn black to

Didn't notice any smoke, I was in orange county for the most part of the day, must have been out by the time we got home.
What were the cross streets it was off of? Looks like it is near the bus yard that caught fire last year.

Didn't notice any smoke, I was in orange county for the most part of the day, must have been out by the time we got home.
What were the cross streets it was off of? Looks like it is near the bus yard that caught fire last year.
It was across the freeway from the bus yard and a mile or two west.

Where are you at? Near Jack McGrath's old place? I can't think of any cross streets for some reason. Near Jean's Channel Cats?

We were a little worried. His aunt and uncle live on one of those hills.
