Anyone have a nice set of lightnings or other sitting around they want to get rid of? Need something for a big block chevy. Needs to be water jacketed and capable of supporting 800 hp. Reversion is a big concern as tips are submerged at idle.
Lightning has a 3 week backlog and I was hoping I could find something on the used market a little quicker.

I know lightning is backloged, but I would do it right and get some made for your application.
I just picked mine up on Monday.
I got the longer collecter and he prepped the end of the header in case I needed to run the water and exht seprate all the way to the tips.
If I do get reversion, I can buy his tips and never have to worry. They will collect out side the transum. Thats only if I have problems.

Good idea! I knew I could order the collector longer but I had no idea I could change where the water & exhaust mix. I think I will just have them set it up that way so I can dump the water at the tip from the get go. A lot cheaper that way than to break a motor.
Thanks!

Damn:( ,well you have to take the good with the bad. You got a fair price for the 502 and you will be able to do the boat right. There will be other trips. If you guys decide
you want to drive up for a day or two you can play in the eliminator.
