I know this is a boating site, but I also know that there are a few old mopar lovers here as well. My buddy just got back from Pennsylvania and sent this to me. Anyone have a spare $140K I could borrow?

True story....when I was in High School.....I went and looked at a mint condition 440 Superbird.....A guy was selling it......his son was overseas in the millitary.....and he was tired of storing it in his garage for him....the price $2500.......I didnt have it....:( ....If only I saved my paper route money as a youth instead of blowing it on beer and pepperoni....:D

140k? A very nice Daytona sold at Barrett Jackson in 2006 for 172k. If you would be willing to buy this car for 140k I've got some mangled baseball cards that are worth 20 grand I will let you buy.
That car is worth $500.

Sorry, I live in California. If I was gonna work on a car like that I'd want to get paid for my time and still turn a profit.
Not to mention parts in the last few years haven't gotten any easier to find and the prices have gone through the roof.

But then again I did see a FAKE Daytona at mopar fall fling(van nuys) go for $12000 that was a replica of Joe Dirts car! I bought my '69 Charger R/T SE for $200 in that condition, but then again the guy didn't know what he had :D

I've used to be a Mopar guy long time ago , but wouldn't give 500 bucks for that Bird either :) .
Killer Customs [ local guys ] have a triple black vinyl roof 68 Charger R/T with a 426 Hemi , in mint condition .#'s matching car asking $180 K . I wouldn't buy that car either :D
My buddy has a Hennessey Viper and just picked up another Venom 650 R for 49K . Give me a Venom over any old Mop , hehe.
