Hoover Dam and Bridge Photos

Had to take a run to Vegas to get some supplies. Spent the evening there with the Family and on the way home I decided to check out Hoover Dam and how there process was coming on the new bridge. I must say I was impressed with the height of that structure. Also I cannot believe how low Lake Mead has gotten. If any of you havent seen the new columns going up click on the link below.

I was amazed w/the low level as well. I was on Mead a couple weeks ago and I was beached on an island that was once under water.

I still marvel at the feat of engineering they built holding the water back, especially considering the severe labor it took to do so in those days.
