Low BSFC leads me to believe the numbers are very optimistic. Typically BSFC numbers of .5 to .57 are the reality. If the fuel flow is correct at 320 lb and a .5 BSFC you would have 640HP and be running on the lean side. What is the correction factor?

Not in my experience. My BBF's have run BSFC's of .48 down to .366 and my small blocks from .50 to .41 . His numbers seem to be in line, the engine had a VE of 103% and a air/fuel of about 13:1. The numbers all add up to me:)
The only strange thing I see is, I haven't seen anyone do a 500 rpm step test in like forever.
