BEAUTIFUL BOATS!
I like the old school seat next to the engine that doubles as a walk thru!

An 800 in a 26. That sucker has got to be a rocket.
Both are nice looking boats. So much for me having the only 26 out there :D :D

That walk-thru transom is killer. After having a boat with this set-up I will never want another standard rear seat. These boats are beautiful. What is MSRP on one with standard power?

I really liked the gel coat in the cup holder areas a very nice touch.
Also the portside foot rest doubles as a storage compartment.
The logo on the carpet as you board the swim area is a nice touch.
Beautiful boats!!!:D Thank you for posting the photos.

P.S. I was on the orange and silver one Sunday.

Considering what your boat runs compared to a 27' Shadow and using mikes boat for comparison......Do you think this boat would run 110-112 with the 800??? :jawdrop: :D

I would figure 105 to 108. IMO, the 27 is a much better candidate for that much power, although I would love to have an 800 in mine.
How's biz?

How's buz?
I agree....I think a 525 would be as much as I would want in a family deck boat.
If I was the only driver and had the cash a 800 would be nice.
Buizz is slow and steady.....We are not setting the world on fire like we did in the 80's. Much tougher market and there is about 100 mercury agents in our same complex. We dumped almost all of our advertising that never yielded returns(we had 1/2 page yellow page adds that would draw 3 calls a month) and concentrate on X selling and refferals. With about 4K clients we do good with a relatively small staff.:)
How about you guys?
You looking for a manager with experience;):D
<------ needs some more cash so I can buy an ultra..lol

I feel the exact the same way about the 26.
Things are on an upswing for sure, but nowhere near like it was 5 years ago when we wrote 150 mil. Much more managable now. :D :D
I think you would be missed way to much to even think about it. (remember we are a family business too)
Hope to meet you and your future wife sometime soon
John M
Sorry for the jack
PS. Jason at Ultra is the man and his wife Sabrina, is way cool too!

Ultra will be taking over the "every weekend regatta" slogan very soon as i see it John
As far as the 26 with the 800 I would have to pass as much as i LOVE that kind of stuff; but the speeds that the boat should see would only be fun for the driver, period IMO. Hell, I get the "ole evil eye" from Momma at anything over 50mph, she doesnt say anything but I know she doesnt like it so why aggrivate the situation. I guess if you can afford the boat then the cost of insurance is a moot point huh  Gotta be an arm and a leg though!! Beautiful boat BTW, wanna give us a ballpark $$$$??? Damn, I post on this site more than anywhere now, the Sandbar is full of crap now :( NSF

Bobby,
I couldn't agree more. A 26 with an 800 would only be fun for the driver. I rarely run wide open with anyone in the back seat. It's not fun for those in the back. WINDY! WINDY! WINDY!

Mine only goes a little over 70 and even if we leave the water a little bit it HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING FUNNY OR SCARY, at least to me the driver, it just sits down nice and straight and continues. BUT MOMMA DONT LIKEY:(
I personally would agree with Ultra 26 1 about the 27 Shadow being the better choice for this kind of power and the resulting speeds, JMO! NSF

Bobby,
My 26, lke your Magic, has never displayed anthing even reomtely unsafe. The few times it had gotten some serious air, it lands soft and straight. Ultra's 26 and 27 Shadows, like the Magic cats and Decks, are very sound and safe boats, IMO

If you choose to go with the full innerliner then yes.
