A bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis has collapsed, sending cars into the water, The Associated Press reports.

Thats really sad and sucks big time....

This is bad news. I'm from Minneapolis and have crossed this bridge hundreds of times. A buddy just called me and said he went across at 4:30...it went down around 6:00. I will be interested to see what caused this, so it never happens again. It doesn't make any sense for it to collapse.
So far I hear that three are confirm dead.

They claiming atleast 7 people have died. Very sad day in Minnesota.

After seeing the video, it's amazing anyone survived. I heard they estimate about 50 cars are in the river. This is going to have a long term effect on the people in the Twin City area as hundreds of thousands of vehicles used this bridge daily. Traffic will be hell for years.

Just saw on the news where they said was a security video. Appears they have also lowered the death toll.
I wonder if that is a traffic monitoring video.
