has anyone sent in an MSD 6AL for repair, and what is the average repair cost?

I've heard of them being fixed for free. Depends on why its bad.

I heard that Vic got beat by a BBF stroker and he got pissed and was seen hitting his chevy with his cane. I think he got the MSD box and broke it. :D

MSD is supposed to have an awesome warranty. Check out their site or read some of the stuff that came with the box, and you should be able to send it to them for free

called MSD and was told it can cost as much as $79 down to free. i need to put a credit card deposit before i send it in is what im told. even at $79 i dont mind paying to repair an 11 year old ignition box. i allready purchased a new one (kinda had to) so the repaired one can be a spare. i was just wondering if there is an average cost of repair on these things.

dan, i get beat by fords all the time. but atleast the boat keeps me on the water all season.:D

thanks man. yea i do remember meeting you, unfortunatly my mind was a bit distracted on how i was going to get my pregnant wife from the beach way up river. but Jim came through big time. (thanks Jim.) and so did a freindly waverunner rider, he towed me around the breakwall to the launch ramp. its a great feeling knowing there are so many good poeple out there. as for the ignition box, that was the problem and checkers in bullhead hyad a couple on the shelf so i was good to go the next day. :D

i shipped the box out yesterday. about $10 to ship. we will see what they charge to repair it and ship it back. probably a couple weeks.
