I'm able to spin the AA to 6200, and the speedo (not gps) saw the positive side of 90. I'm very very happy with the power the engine is making, and even happier with the tunnel. What a smooth riding boat !

Yeah the 100mph may be there, time will see. One extended impeller chart puts me right at 1K, another at 875+. I'd guess somewhere in the middle, 925 to 950. I'm very happy with those numbers considering this is a 92 octane engine. I'm still going to put it on the dyno over the winter for perfect tuning, and I'd guess I can indeed touch 1K. I've got my timing set at 30 total, pulling .5* per pound of boost out. I'm reasonably confident I can put 7-8lbs at it w/o detonation. But for know it's set up heavy on the safe side since I'd never be able to hear any detonation.

How is the idle characteristics? Where does the powerband seem to be?

Idle is near perfect, surging between 800 and 1500/1600. I only have 5.2 hours on it, not a lot of time to tell exactly when it hits. I can say it pulls hard as hell from 3K up.
