Picked up a set of these valve covers a couple of months ago, and just had my brother in law cut out a SS plate w/ Advantage in it. Kind of modern for me, but they are unique. What do you guys think?

very nice. I would guess there is a large potential in making those on the side for some nice $$$$.

With or without. Both ways look bitchin;)
Have any of you guys seen those new Imco lexan valve covers? You can watch your valvetrain while the motor is running:idea:

It is for me, I got a good deal on the valve covers and the stanless, so I only have around 250.00 into them. Buy it now price on ebay is around 400.00, I wouldn't have spent that kind of $ on them. Originally I ran them w/o the SS, but it was too much carbon fiber for me, so I had the SS panels waterjetted to balance it out and to customize it a bit. Like alot of us here our boats are our Hot Rods/Water Rods so we try to make them stand out w/ somethings that are a little different than the guy next to us has. I cant compete w/ these guys that have the big hp ( maybe someday), but for now I'll do the little things and keep a cherry old boat together.:)

My brother in law does some water jet work for this guy who makes these valve covers, so I told him that I would get some pics for him to show his client. Maybe something wiil come of that, as for me its just a one off that nobody else has (yet):D .

What's the main purpose or carbon fiber ?
To save weight, why add the stainless plate?
For the price of those valve covers, you could almost buy a used 871 supercharger.

for 250 bucks you will be lucky to get a good blower snout. lol
I like them. I wish someone would make them to clear offshore style headers.
Could you imagin making those with all the offshore logos? You would sell tons of them.
Will those clear stud girdles?

I think they look bitchen. I would even find a way to fill the advantage with a color that matches your boat. Maybe a second plate underneath that has been painted. That way the Advantage name would pop some more.
I like them plain too. Very nice.

I,ll send you the 250.00 for the supercharger :D If weight was the issue I couldn't ride in my own boat. Its just to be different.

So, who makes the valve covers?
A client of my brother in law down here in So Cal. He doesnt usually sell to the public but in this case we just called a test set. He also makes them for small blk chevys, some Fords, and Olds, seems to be working on molds all the time.
