Who would have parts for tach drives that mount to the v-drive. In this case the tach was driven off of the harmonic balancer.

beaverfab, I'm having my son take some pics of the part he needs. as soon as I get them I'll call and send them too you. I'm trying to remember the name of the part that the tach cable hooks into, then it goes 90 degrees into the balancer useing a small shaft with a spring to take up the torque of the motor. This boat was built in the earley 70's so I'm sure some of the older guys know what it looks like. Thanks for your help. Jim

If you look below the water pump you can see the transfer into the balancer. The gear transfer is ok,he needs the shaft that goes into the bolt of the balancer. If that makes any sents.
