August 18 & 19 Minnesota Jets: Whose In?

For those who haven't read the other thread, August 18th and 19th at Detroit Lakes Minnesota, will be the official date and place for the first Minnesota Jets get-together. If you don't know D.L., there are plenty of amenities on the water, such as Zorbas, hotels, fuel, and a nice beach to run your boat right up on the sand. We are currently trying to get an accurate head count together. So, if you can make it, please post here or send me a PM. If you posted on the other thread, please do so again here. Looks like if I am there it will be boatless, wiped out another cam yesterday breaking it in. Did everything by the book, I am pissed! wiped the bearings crank is nasty, I'm sure the oil pump is gone again though it did have 80# I am sure it is scored by the way the bearings look.

Where are the pics and video from the MN get together ?

Only one other boat besides me showed and I missed him by1/2 hr. I arrived at 12:10 and drove down by the Holiday Inn and didn't see any boats so I parked my boat (on the trailer) in front of zorbaz and had some lunch and things until
around 3:00 then left disappointed.
I think if something like this is planed in the future we need to get some phone #'s so there is no confusion. If people still want to get together and try this again before the snow flies or even after let me know time and date.
I have a bunch of questions to ask and some answers too ask seasoned jet boaters and excited to see what others have and how they made it work.
we should try to organize a swap meet someday. to empty out our excess stuff
and get more......

I was at Zorbaz around 4:00, not a boat on that cold rainy lake..LOL.. we have alot of boats that get together on the chain of lakes here in alexandria every nice (warm)sunday..Darrell 320-766-4846.
PS. did anyone see the V drive for sale on hwy 10??

his buddy thought he wanted 6500.00 for it. I have called the owner but he hasn't returned my calls. it looks like a 3500.00 boat to me. yeah its pretty rough and been there since before the 4th of july. It would be a fun 2nd boat to throw cash at.. LOL

I'm thinking that the weather put a damper on things. My camping trip on the river ended up a very wet one, seeing that it rained steady the entire time. The poker run was cancelled too. Downriver there were mudslides, and enough flooding to wash away car and houses, and at least 6 people drowned.
