Still trying to draw out the plans for the seating arangements on the daycruiser. . . its a 23ft and i plan on having a sundeck that starts with an upright just infront of the harmonic balancer and with that and such a large bow there isnt much more than a regular 20 ft boat so i could use pics of what you like or what is comfortable and user friendly. Since im doing all the building of the seating structure i thought of adding built in ice chests or compartments like the newer bayliners and stuff come with, anyone have any pointers or what not to do on that note ???
Basically I would like to see some good pics of your interior that you really like or even some pics and how you would change yours to make it better

I ran one long seat down the starboard side, with a box underneath for skis, etc. The advantage are plenty of storage, people can sit far apart if lightly loaded, or closer if heavily loaded. They can move sideways to get under the shade of the bimini, they can observe skiers or look ahead with minimal effort.

Ive got two buckets and a rear bench with fairly flat engine cover. There are 11 inches of space between the backs of the front seats and the forward edge of the rear seat bottom. Its enough room for me to sit back there in reasonable comfort(im 6 ft tall). In the future I think I might move the rear seat back a little more. Wife likes the engine cover for laying out on. Rear bench is a couple of inches away from the balancer. Boat has saddle tanks so storage space is pretty limited(plenty of room under the deck, just tough to get to on this boat. Might go with a belly tank in the future as well.

This one I had saved awhile back when I was redoing my interior. Damn near the same as the yellow one, actually...

I had an early Eliminator 21 jet. Most unique interior design. 2 buckets up front, half rap-around in back, engine cover dead flat to the back contour of the gunnels 3/4 across. Under the engine cover, motor and storage on the port side. Starboard side was open with small bucket for a little-one but had access to transom for what ever. And the Wife loved the rear deck for lay-out. Custom desing and have never seen it again. Made big mistake and sold boat. But have another one now, not with that interior.
