Hey Jay whats up, Mike here just had question for you to ask one of your mechanics if you dont know the answer. Anyways I put a Magnaflow Exhaust on my Suburban, and the RPMS run alot higher than it used to, can you tell me if this is normal, it runs at 2400 rpm at 75 mph used to run at 1900rpm at that speed. Whats up with that, I thought it would run at lower rpm if you open it up with exhaust...let me know...MIKE

An exhaust system shouldn,t change your or lower your cruise rpm at all. Maybe make it more efficient at that rpm but wouldn,t change it. Changing your gear ratio or tire size would change your cruise rpm. Also it may sound louder and giving you the impression that things are different when there really the same. Mike:idea:
