A couple of years ago i bought a 92 20'8" arriva it has an alpha one outdrive 5.7L single carb, thru hull, msd ignition, and i'm currently running a 21" aluminum three blade. If the spedo is right i've topped it out at 62mph @5200rpm which is 600rpm above redline. I would like to get some more speed without sacrificing the engine. I was advised that for every additional 1" of propeller that i add, i will decrease rpm by 200.
So should i be looking for a 23", a 3or a 4 blade, stainless or aluminum?

Lose the aluminum prop.
As mike37 suggested,try a 22p,rev4,bravo1,etc
Best thing to do id contact a reputable prop shop in your area and arrange to try out a couple of different props...
good luck, let us know how it turns out.
