I have a 460 Ford engine, this what I am thinking to rebuild with 24cc dished pistons and stock cam:The M-6250-A460 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam = 0.493" Intake, 0.502" Exhaust and 216°@.050" Intake, 220°@.050 Exhaust.
I am going to do some minor porting on head and keep stock size valves.
The reason for the 24cc pistons is the compression ratio low to run unleaded gas. I have Edelbrock Torquer II Manifold that would clear my low engine cover.
Has anyone run a Torquer Maifold, I know that on 455 Oldsmobile quite a few people have run the Torquer Manifold.

I had one on my last Jet. I also had the heads done with bigger valves. If I were to do that today I'd probably use an Edlebrock Performer RPM Air Gap.
It worked OK, but I couldn't tell you how much of it had to do with the intake.

I do not have space to fit an RPM Air Gap, what was the rpm you were turning?

not sure if you have room but the Weiand Stealth intake works well on the 460's.
