Send those guys down to the Pasadena area. I need some GOOD framers.
Anyone have a referral for a 2 story 1240 sqft addition in the southern Ca. area? I just need foundation and framing.
Mike, are you busy this weekend? Your boss owes me a favor for borrowing my USC visor after he lost his at the AMDR.

It's hard to believe that somebody knows how to put in a let-in brace  I thought that was a dead talent.

Hey Karl how did they get away with that setback? Looks like the garage is about 5 ft from property line. Looks taller than 15 ft too
You going to be around this weekend? We will be out sat am.

The block wall is on his side of the property line by 2' +3' walk around = 5' setback, the front we just brought foward to the front 25' setback, the height is 15'6 so you grade down 6".
for your property we could do 20' tall if you graded down to street level, the rule is no taller than 15' from your AVG Max grade, in this case a 103 grade+ 15' = 18' tall bldg max
oh yes I am always here , lets hook up, hows the foot doing?
I am assuming you have a DD for the night :)

well we are 3 weeks into it since I submitted the drawings, the G.C.(owner of the house) SWEARS!!!! 90 days......but I am not falling for it I am thinking more like 4 months total. cost is for this one is around 75k it might hit 80-85k due to the fact that part of this is adding/expanding (grandma's suite) so a full bath and a bedroom and a office is included. I am using this one as a benchmark for attachments. I have 2 more similar to this one going in the city next week.. so as I can Zero in on the cost (repetition) I am sure I can sharpen the pencil a bit :)
I just started him on another house (fire rebuild = slab up) he said he will build/CO that house by June 1st, I think the crazy old coot :) will owe me the $100 we bet on it
