So what do you think it's going to be for you? Is anybody planning on going on October or November by chance and if so isn't it going to be cold (water and air)?

Never a last trip. We go boating even in the winter months. Use our house year round. More often we do the Jeep deal to desert bar and other off roading.

Arizona doesn't have an off season. We don't even winterize our boats, well I don't anyway.

I go to havasu every other week as I work in Kingman. Even before I got that job, I went in the fall, winter, spring to either go fishing or watch the christmas boat parade

October is probably my favorite month to boat in Havasu. Like many on this board, I boat year-round and service my boat every March. The day after Thanksgiving is also a great day to boat.

Our last trip is usually in mid-October. Then we come back in December for the christmas light parade. Not too cold in October. Water is a little nippy.

Not Havasu here but I make it a point to take my boat out each and every month of the year. Coldest I have been out was in Dec around Xmas time. Low 50's with cold wind blowing. It was fun and the boat ran great!

We boat year round. In the colder months we go riding in the morning and then take the boat out later in the afternoon.

Boating season officially ends Dec 31, and starts on Jan 1.
I only boat during the season. :D

Personally I think the best part of the season starts the day after Labor Day weekend ends. Nothing like cruising the channel in December or tearin' up the desert in a Rhino.

The best boating is during the off season, and the best boobie watching is during the season.
Who said that Havasu doesn't have seasons. :D

Boat from early March to early Nov but if there is a warm weekend in there the boat goes on the water. During the other months the desert toys come out and do the desert bar etc.

Year round for us. We love the offroading aspect to Havi. The busiest weekend on the Landing side (where the casino is) is Thanksgiving. There is a huge offroad poker run with over three hundred vehicles. We started our own poker run last year. We had 80 entries. It use to be that New Years weekend use to be dead. Hardley anyone was at the landing. Last year it was packed. It's great to see people using their places year round. It's not the end of the season, just putting away the boat and breaking out the off road toys.:D As a side note, October is nice for boating. The water is usually still warm at the begining of the month and crowds are down.

Agreed that some of the best boating is after labor day. I have video of us at the sandbar in the water on Halloween...it was still really nice out...:)
