OC to Needles to AZ to Lake Powell (OMG)

Can you say Drive-a-thon
Going to Lake Powell tonight picking up the raft in Needles and driving to Phoenix to pick up the rest of the cheap asses that didn't want to fly, then off to the lake. 15 peeps 2 house boats 2 wake boats 2 PWC and 1 seaplane.
ANY HBers at Powell this weekend???
My question for AZ boaters/drivers
mapping it out anyway looks like a long drive anyway i go.
So ? is
a) Needles take the 40 to hwy-93 to US-60 in North Phoenix
b) Needles to Havasu through Parker to the 10 and back up
c) Needles take the 40 to Flagstaff then south on the US-17 to Phoenix
What is the Hwy-93 like? IM driving SOLO and was wondering what that road is like at night.
Thanks for any advice...and if your in Powell this week find us. Trust me with the clowns doing its going to be an event :D

Do not do option C. That will add hours to your trip. Too bad they couldn't get to Flagstaff and leave a car there. That would save you a few hours each way on the way and way back.
Maybe someone here on HB that lives in Flag will let them leave a car out front of their house.
If they drive to Flag not towing, it is only a 2 1/2 hour ride. About 3 towing.

Have them fly Great Lake Airlines up from Phoenix to Page... then they can fly back with thier friend. It will cost more in gas to go down there and back up than to fly them.. And if they are too cheap to do that, do you really want them out on the water with you anyways?
Great Lakes has 3 flights a day between Page and Phoenix.

I'll be there... Leaving tomorrow early for Wahweep Marina. Look for me I'll probably be the only outboard tunnel there with cold Grey Goose Martinis!!!
