Ill be at the Avi Fri thru Monday. I think I am insane for it, but I guess you only live once. :( Should be interesting to say the least. Hell, the boat may just stay on trailer and Ill hit the beach if its too overun by the jet skis. Last time I was there and pulled a guy out of the water that got hit by a jetski boat, he was on a old jetski. I swore never to go again, but when you dont have a place of your own to stay you are kinda limited.
Anyways, if you see me make sure to say Hi, we will have alot of cold ones for fellow Hot Boaters. Heres a pic:---Chris

:) Guilty as charged - That's why I had to put a cover on it :D In my defense I did just buy it ...
I'm gathering parts right now for the BB mopar conversion. The olds motor was built 3x over the last 10 years, and it has some decent parts on it, but I'd rather add cubes and a decent oiling system and either put a Mopar 512 or 543 in it. Already have a couple of engines in which to choose from, and just need a few things like the drive and headers...

I got a room at the Ramada Express in Laughlin, AVI is just too much money for me this weekend. I will be there with the new Red bahner, honestly I would like to go down river again but I would need an idea where to stay and launch? I have myself and the kids as well.

You mean "Tropicana Express"... I'll be across the street at the Colorado Belle. I'm trailering down to park Moabi Sat and Sun, about a 30-40 minute drive, and launching from there. Hopefully, it will be a little calmer, less jet-skis and the river is MUCH wider/deeper. I'll PM you with my #.

We are staying in Havasu but we will be at Moabi on Saturday. We will be launching from Moabi and day camping at the end of the channel just before you go into the river. Get there early the channel was packed by 12:00 PM on Memorial Day.

Oooooh, yes I know exactly where that is. It's a nice spot. I've always wanted to go down there and check it out. Unfortunately my place is directly across from the Colorado Bell and usually there are about 10 to 15 people comin up to hang out so it's kind of tough to get down there. So we'll most likely be a Davis Camp and take a little cruz down to the Avi.

I usually head down from AVI when the Sea Doos are getting a little think. It's probably about a 35 minute trip by truck and about a 50 minute trip by boat (cruising).

The COLE is gone, went to Texas. I have my Bahner now and it was parked right next to where yours was at AVI, it was that red one. I get too pick it up this Sat morning in the parking lot at the Tropicanna arouns 7am. I will launch it real fast at the Riverside and than pull it back out( doing this with the old owner, Chris). Anyway, I am thinking about heading down with Brian to Maobi.
