Ok some of you know that I was in a terrible accident on July 1st this year. I am out for the season due to the financial loss. Things are starting to look better for me as the days go by but time will tell. I am missing the boating season so I am calling out my fellow boaters. All I ask is to post your 2007 pics. Yes he was with us and its your every day run of the mill gullwing runnin somewhere around 110 but the shoe is still 3\16 above the keel and shuts down like a dream.

It does when they're working on the damn dam. It took no more than 5 minutes for us to get beached.
Then it would come back up.....then go back down etc. etc.

That was the day before my pistons gave the final meltdown.
They were partially gone during that video but the motor still screamed.
You can see some smoke coming out the pipes.

Thanks guys, It'll run 8.0's, even with my tired old 496 in it. The first quarter mile race I ran with this hull was at Ft. Worth and I'll be damned if I did'nt end up winning, it ran consistent low 8's at 129-130mph. I hope to get it freshend up over the winter and be ready to go next season. This boat was #5 out of Ervin Capps mold.

10-4 im runnin a 461 in mine but im spinnin a 1471 high helix retro delta port with the same static as yours on alky never go back.

I hear ya, alky is a heck of alot easier on parts and make a ton of power. I don't think that I'll go with more than 11.25-1, much more than that gets to be alittle to hard on starters and flywheels. I have to admit that the 8-71 spining ~50% sound pretty cool.

I'll try to post a vid of the Ft. Worth race, with the 14mm pulleys spinning at the speed of death you can barely hear the motor over the blower. Man 30#'s would be nice, my 8 was making 19#'s could be that the pistons are a little loose in the holes.

I received a call early this morning that there were a lot of boats showing up at Seaweed & Sam's deal "Hammer Day" over on the Ouachita River in Arkansas. There were over 25 jets gathered at Scott's camp last night with an additional number of boats expected to arrive this morning. Chop called but did not have a camera and said it was going to be a great day but did not have a camera!
