Most people I know who have Imco Power Flows, like them. What would they be going on?

What imco's?
If they are the powerflows with the stainless risers then keep the Imco's. I read elsewhere however that the Indmar manifolds you have are good to around 550 hp, maybe 600. If less than that its probably not worth the effort to change.

Imco is a better quality and will make more power.

Don, as long as they are in good shape, run em. There are people running powerflows with over a 1000 hp. Might want to put them on the 502 with the whipple if you are still going that route...

Pretty proud of those things eh? FYI I know of two sets in EXCELLENT condition sold in the last year that averaged $650, manifolds, risers,S pipes, hose & tips with all hardware. Considering new Lightnings are $1900 for a nicer looking exhaust...you are overpriced.:)

go for it. But considering you're about the only person with any money to spend around here you'll end up buying them from yourself!

My boat came with an Indmar 502 and it had Indmar polished aluminum center risers. For what its worth, I took off the Indmars and went with Lightning Water Jacketed headers and picked up 200 rpm.

The original 502 was the 415 hp version. I later replaced it with the ZZ502 500 hp.

Don your 502 is the HO version according to all the serial #'s. 450hp.
I wouldn't worry about leaks with the exhaust. Your boat would look nice with the Imcos on it. Seal em up with a continuous beed of silicone and that thing would look very clean, not to mention it will scoot.
