Went Saturday, played for 8 hours...crap, I was sore as hell on Sunday. My son and I had a blast.:D
It was a bit warm but there was a breeze so it was tolerable.
We are shooting new WGP AutoCockers with Nitro air tanks, they are really accurate and I had very few misfires and chops. The markers were a good investment.
Going again in a few weeks:D :D

I just played on Saturday morning with 31 other peeps. My gear is a little old-school now but still shreds. 2001 WGP Autococker with all of the bells and whistles. 4500 pound carbon nitro tank on remote, 30mm red dot sight and Revo2 hopper. Thought about getting a Ricochet hopper, but the REvo came with the marker.
Haven't played in years, but busted it all out and had a blast. Audrey has an e-blade Spyder with a Bob Long Cyclone3 bolt and J&J barrel.

bump to the top for a question..
my 16yr old and his friends have been to the paintball fields a few times now and my son wants a marker (gun) for christmas.
i have been looking on the internet and i really like the realistic looking paintball guns, like the Tippman and the RAP4-5 guns, Gen 68??.
But are these realistically a good gun for a beginner and what guns are they mostly using at the fields.. most of the ones i see on craiglist are like ION or Spyder but the listings say they upgrade to the RAP guns. i dont want him to show up w/ m16 clone and everyone else is using plain old paintball guns.
ohh and i thought i saw that the barrels can be switched out to fire BBS also, is this true?
TIA

spyders are a good beginner gun to start out with. autocockers are good also.

another great starter gun, which is the one i also have is the smart parts ion. There is a ton of aftermarket parts for it and is a great overall marker. I have had mine for a little over a year and no problems thus far. I only play like 8-10a year though..
