How much and how fast? My son bought a used SeaDoo (5 hours on it), not sure what year, I think it's about 2 -3 years old. It's the black and day glo green one. It does 65+ with me on it and I ain't very lightweight at all.

Sounds like he purchased the previous RXP. In stock form, they top out at 68mph.

I have a couple '05 RXPs with the 215 HP motors...they are a kick in the ass to ride! Up to 65 they make the boat feel slow :(

i have an 06 GTX with only 155 hp and it will get to 60 pretty quick, im sure that one will rip your arms off out of the hole. i didn't know they were coming out with that kind of hp for 2008, i may need to upgrade mine.

My brother designed the coolers for the 255hp motor. He told me SeaDoo was on a mission to beat Yamaha to 250hp. Money was no object on the development of the new motor. Twin 255hp mills should also be availabe in their jet boats.
They are pretty badass for lake lice.

Yamaha just released their new 2008 FX Super High-Output last week. 1.8L supercharged engine. I bet this new ski will do 70mph or more. Forget bombardier. Been there done that! Nice looking ski though.

I had a '96 XP that made about 110 hp and a '98 GTX that made about 130 hp. They were both pretty fast and could out run most boats. Glad to see the new models finally dumped the thumb throttle. I changed that out on mine immediately.

I don't find PWC's the least bit of interest to ride.

The Crotch Rocket of Water. Nice bike!!! Yamaha, SeaDoo, Honda, all make pretty nice water bikes. Now, we can only hope that Harley comes out with one so the HD guys can make a lot of noise and go nowhere, and we'll have something to laugh at on the water too. :D
