WHITTIER - Whittier police will be keeping an eye out for drunken drivers and anyone driving without a license or a suspended license Friday.
The department will conduct a DUI checkpoint in the area of Telegraph Road and Bloomfield Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
Officers will also be checking for unlicensed motorists or those who are driving with a suspended driver license. Anyone found driving with an invalid license may have their vehicle impounded for 30 days and be issued a citation.
The checkpoint and other enforcement efforts are part of the Police Department's efforts that coincides with the national "Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest." campaign and California's "Report Drunk Driving - Call 911" public message.
The program is paid for by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

LMAO. Sorry Topless, I think this guy is a jerk also ( "South" Temecula WTH is that? A "better" part of Temecula? :rolleyes: ) but that was a good one. Not true, I'm quite positive, but still a good one.
