dam run pics 8-24

team luckystrike and team MIAD launched from katherines friday and had a great ride all the way up to willow beach where we stopped for a break, and then continued to the dam.
on the way back we stopped at cottonwood for lunch. it was a great day! as for the rest of the weekend, between the 6am binge friday night/saturday morning and taking over the pool at harrah's on saturday afternoon, it couldn't have been better:devil::D thanks to havasu carerra, mr. crusader83 and stv keith for coming up to hang with us. that was a night to remember guys!! we'll have to do it again soon :D here are some boating pics...most of the others are too hot for hb :D :D

John made the mistake of letting me drive his new boat friday--we started with a dam run then headed south to cottonwood or so, and worked our way back to willow--then down and back again.
We were probably low 90's when we went by, I think I came off the throttle stop twice in about 25 miles :D Had to find out what it was capable of :wink:

and to think that the dam was built in the 30's just amazes me also. unbelievable work and lots of lives lost in the process for this piece of american history. i've been across the dam a couple dozen times and there is nothing like seeing it from the water at the bottom. :)
