I've got a Baretta 16 gauge side-by-side, old. I can't seem to find any info on it. Barettausa is closed for the day, but, I thought wtf, someone on HB might be in the know.
BTW, I do have what appears to be a Ser# if anyone can help.
Thanks in advance
ROC

You fellas are some funny mutha fockers.:D
Phat Matt, I've already tried Barettausa, they're closed for the day.
The thing is, I can't find a model number anywhere. Just a serial number on the reciever. I called a dealer in Dallas and he just about shit when I told him I have this gun. All he knew was Baretta hasn't made a side-by-side 16 gauge in over 20 years.
I know it's an older gun, given to my wife as a present from her dad(retired cop;) )
I was gonna use it for hunting this week but may use another gun, especially if this thing has a fairly large value.

Listen here fockers, THE GUN AIN'T FOR SALE:devil: :D
Well, maybe for the right price. Funny, my wife is finding similar Barettas for sale for 20-30K. I highly doubt this one is worth near that, but, ya never know. I just wanna hunt with it.;) That's what it's made for right?

If you're an NRA member call their museum in Virginia or e-mail them all the info you have. They'll have the info you need, or will steer you in the right direction.
If you're not an NRA member... well, you should be :)
They helped me with info about my great grandfather's 1st generation Colt... got info to restore it properly, helped me find a gunsmith, clubs, etc...

Probably a 400 series model. What numbers are on the receiver?
Model 411E came in 16 gauge. 424 also in 16.
Get "The World of Beretta" by RL Wilson. Good book. :D
