Any eastsiders headed to Saguaro

So, I'm new to the area and am wondering how early one has to get to Saguaro to get on the water on a Labor Day weekend. I went to Saguaro earlier in the year in a friend's boat and one of my friends ended up waiting for 2 hours in the parking lot to launch.
This same friend isn't going out this weekend because he says it gets kinda crazy with boats going every which way. I would hate to get hit or hit someone with my wife and grandson on board.
Also, with a lot of boats on the water, just getting back to Sandy beach might not be much fun. Looked to me that the main part of Saguaro can get pretty lumpy.

i would be there at 8-9am. You will get good parking and good water until 10am. The beach should be full of........well um um um, you know what I mean:D:D

cruser, with a tunnel you will have good water for most of the day. Glass between 4 & 6 am but sunrise is later in the am this time of year.
I'm trying to make it out Sunday & Monday. Family stuff may take precedence. Historically, the holidays are nicer at Saguaro since most are at the River, Apache or Roosevelt.
If you get to Saguaro after 8 am you are in the overflow.

we were going to go to parker , but the water is so rough even on shore, thats one thing i like about the beach is you never worry about getting swamped..... about 25 years ago i saw a pickelfork get swamped, it just slide back into deeper water, we raced around put a line to the bow and pulled it back out of the water, just about 12" of the forks werent submerged...... Count me in for all 3 days at the lake . Even though i bought a prop boat I hope i can still hang with the eastsider. Eastsiders for life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup it would be nice to see the Eastsiders out this weekend... Bubba you know we don't discriminate against Props. Hope to see some of the Eastside V-drives there too. Randy get er done.

Whats up , was at the lake today skiing on a air chair , what a trip,, but there was no one there ,,,, until about 2;00 I left the lake 5;00 and went up to beeline.... 87 to payson was bumper tp bumper ... all the way back almost till Gilbert....., That wait I know must have been 5 to 6 hours from Gilbert to bush highway........ One more thing changed distributor to HEI the boat is sick with extra power.... I should have made that move along time ago

The water was nice till 11:30 am. The LEOs were real nice today too. Hats off to those guys. I'll show you why.

BGW Nice seeing you today. Beach was kinda dead but we did get to see some TTs :p

The deal at the ramp was that the starter decided it was tired and tried to take the day off. So after cooling off a bit, and meeting a couple of new people, I decide to fix it. The problem was the selenoid. There was a bunch of beige chalky stuff in it, preventing contact. Cleaned it up and away we went.
Hopefully I didn't piss to many people off when I stood it on end as I was leaving. Kinda got caught up in all the hooping and hollering. As soon as I saw my wake, I got off it. Don't want to bounce a bunch of boats together.
I would have stopped by but I can't hear anything over that blower and I had left the wife on a little beach and with the way the boat was acting when we first got there I knew she would be worried. Next time I'll try to pay more attention.
Don't know when we'll be back but I know we will. Both the wife and grandson had more fun on Saguaro than when we went to Canyon a couple of weeks ago.

I have to say it was a trip being in water over your head to having to shut it down so you dont suck up any sand. I had a blast and some thing about waiting for the water to calm and dealing with roll bar boats all day long just doesnt sound fun.

My electrical terminal got wet and the motor started cutting out. So I put her back on the trailer after a great weekend! 12 hours on the lake today and I'm a little red.

definately ruined. my favorite was stopping after we first took off down river. when i hopped outta the boat we were in knee deep water!!!! that and idling facing upstream and not moving cause of the current...hell, our boats were faster too :D...i am in whenever
