How many DUI arrests do you think will be made on the Parker strip this weekend between 6:00 pm Friday, August 31 and midnight Monday, September 3?

I put my choice down.
But I think mine is a little more than an educated guess.

If there were money involved in this, I would have no choice but to disqualify you. .... and then cite you for improper polling.

How come I can't see everyone's choice? I selected the option when I created the pole.

You just nevermind! I PM'd Alan and informed him that we were making a trip down there to test this DUI conspiricy out! I also informed him that you will be paying for the bribe orally since I will be to hammered to even acknowledge his presence. Sorry Tom but your going to have to take one for the team on this fact finding mission!
We leave Saturday morning, and you may want to send Alan some pinapple juice ahead of time.

This counting on land and water? Eight agencies in such a small space makes for a good amount of bookings. I can only imagine what we could do with that many coppers in my shop for just deuces. Keep up the good work Alan and tell your men to stay safe.

It would seem 27 Awesome cat, Essex29, Forensic, ShockwaveBob, Squeezing Spectra won this poll.
I will also give an honorable mention to Rexone. While he was the furthest off the mark, he has my full respect for nis nihilist outlook.

Since there were no accidents, no fatalities, and no injuries,I would say that the boaters won.
But for those keeping score, we arrested and booked 17 DUIs and 3 OUIs. So the total is 20 (23 in Canadian arrests).
There probably would have been a lot more, except the storm that rolled through Saturday night kept a lot of people on the beach.

I thought the original poll was just for on the water because it said Parker Strip. I would have guessed a tad higher.
So did I....obviously most towns across the country would have experienced higher then normal DUI's with the extended holiday weekend...from a boating perspective it was like most weekends between Memorial and Labor Day with just periods of a higher number of vessels on the water.
