Dual jet.........Impressive actually. Not my personal flavor, but if I were to have to choose between one of these and a crapliner, I would choose this.

Looks like a whole new group of dumbass
Nice thing about this though, they are about $28,000 more than the lice cost. It might reduce the amount of lice, then again, probably not

A young family could have a ton of fun skiing and boating on that boat.

You got that right. Two of my friends have them (one is H.O. and the other not) and I gotta say that they're pretty cool. You can fit the whole family, and a couple of friends, and the rear step is cove floatin friendly. They really are cool little boats for the money. I can't tell the difference between the HO and the regular output other than the padding on the rear step :D They really are user friendly, and to me, seem to be a great reliable beginner's boat.

Just adding to the groups we already have here! :D
Kinda like guns don't kill people.... This is just a different weapon.
I personally like ALL boats... the go fast, the old classics, the new stuff and even......
Lake Lice!
I just love being on the water.

while getting off the floor:confused: $35,000.00 -$40,000.00 for a pissing little jet.Get real. There are so many beautiful "REAL" jet boats open bow etc. for a fraction of that twin motors and jets. I can not believe people continue to buy these POS.I can only imagine good creative financing,as can be no other reason.

Looks like another very nice nerd boat. Eventually it will be offered with a variation of flames, checkers or racing stripes appealing to the nerds who want to appear racey. Lol....

I have a hunch you and I are of similar mind on the aesthetics of that boat but I'll tell you what.... the guys who buy those boats will end up with a boating to maintenance/repair ratio of approximately 400:0 (hours:hours).
How do you suppose you and I will fare on the same ratio? Last year, I was at 0:80. This year, I expect to be at 4:25.
If you like family, water, and boating, a craft such as that could be just the ticket.

Good point, those little boats are built to be thrashed, you can't hurt the gel because the finish work and graphics are hideous so you have nothing to lose. Little overpriced...

I never said you had to pick. Hell I grew up on a '77 DiMarco runner with a 454. I LOVE flatties. I have had an older 21' Eliminator. I had a 1996 22' Nordic and a 2001 28' Nordic. I raced jet skis for 8 years and started riding a 400 standup when I was 10 years old. I crewed on my dads Blown Alcohol Hydro in the early 90's and we won the World Finals at Firebird.
Just because you like X boat doesn't mean you can appreciate Y boat.
If you don't like the Yami, how about the 430HP seaDoo! :D

You make a good point Tom but!, I can't support such a craft while logged onto ***boat.com. Check out my post in trailerboats.com and you'll find a practical analytical response geared towards family boating.

I believe TPC had one of the Seadoo's, briefly.
It had some major steering components under-designed and they failed, more than once. I also recall him saying it was very, very thirsty for fuel.
I've seen the Yamaha 05' model; they do run, and like TB said, they are going to put people on the water. Not my cup of tea, but a step up from the PWC scene. I think many of the folks in the market for these will be the no-money-down types, and don't have the 15-25k to spend on a reasonable used tournament boat, nor could they get a loan on a used boat.
They see the Yamaha name as something bulletproof that they can take out and beat on, and that has some "cool" factor, in their minds, which is where it counts since it's their $.
They don't see themselves in a entry level I/O bowrider V-6 family boat, which is where most folks oughta start, IMHO. They don't see much cool factor there, limited chick magnet potential.

Lets see maybe $250 a month payment , small trailer at the river 5-10 k one tank of fuel a weekend . Not bad for a turn key boat , most families could have a blast on a budget .

The only issue I see with them is that if you go to their web site, and watch their videos, they are basically teaching you to zig and zag just like their waverunners. I personally don't have issues with PWC. Heck I have one. But why do most drivers feel the need to turn on a dime and not look behind you:mad: . RandyH
