We used to race on that road all the time. leave the Honda dealership by Skaha and head through to OK Falls to the cliffs.
I gotta get back down there soon!

Those were the days when it took cajones to drive a race car.
I just took a '23 Mercedes 29/95 Targa Florio to Pebble beach.
7.2 litre, 1800 rpm redline, 90 mph!
The gear and supercharger whine on those old cars is incredible.

Jeff , the only race on that road is by cyclists !

My friend took the Austin [ it's a Blue Book car] to Pebble a few years ago , and only the europian clubs paid attention , even though less than a dozen racers exists .Some of the judges were given less points for the car because they thought it was missing some lights , not knowing the history of the car:sqeyes:

Pebble is a fickle and political show. Last year we took a one off bodied RR thats an incredible car and were totally dis'd cause it wasn't production concourse. This year we were beaten by the Mormon Meteor, a one off race car. That Austin is bitchen and must have been a hella ride!
