Havasu was busy in the channel, but not bad at all for a Labor Day Weekend. I am hearing that the hotels were booked the prior and following weekends but some availability for Labor Day.

We launch out of Jack Smith in Needles. Saturday we launched at 8:30 and were the only boats launching at that time and then on Sunday we launched at 9:30 and there was abouta 5 minute wait. Hung at Moabi all day both days. Sunday was a bit more busy than Saturday.

Pulled into the Windsor Bch parking lot at 10:30am on Saturday morning there were 3 boats in front of us, we thought someone was playing a trick on us.

I was at Windsor by 10am, & only had 2 boats in front of us, not a normal labor day weekend at all...
Even less people out on Monday, but was great at the sand bar...

It was a normal busy summer weekend in Laughlin. We expected it to be a lot busier. Guess everyone else thought so too and went to San Diego instead.

Only boated on Sunday at Katherine Landing. Launched at 11:00 am, maybe 5 boats ahead of me. Came off lake at 4:00 pm, same dealio, about 5 boats ahead. I looked, shuttle dropped me at my truck at 4:00 pm, cleared the water, headed for the house at 4:14. Perfect!

We were at West Marine at 10 on Saturday, and the Windsor ramp was still open. On Memorial, by way of contrast, they closed it down by 8 on Saturday. Could it be the economy? Gas prices? The new laws against behavior?

Parker wasn't all that crowded either. Been going there for Labor Day for over 20 years and this year has to be by far the least crowded on the river.

Mead was not that crowded compared to other years. Went to Sandy Point aka Big Sandy Saturday & Sunday and had a nice stretch of beach, about 100 yards, all to ourselves, on the front side too.
Couldn’t have asked for better weather, hot & glassy all day.

Havasu Hotels were 40% unsold for Labor Day, then sold-out this past week-end...:) If they'd stop jacking up the rates...

My first time to Aha Quin it wasn't bad. Went down to Martinez on Monday and friends there said it was not to busy there on Sat or Sun.

Memorial Day has always been the most crowded holiday of the year.

Left the hotel in laughlin at 11am, went to Mo Choppy....not one person in line. We launched at telephone cove, not one person waiting. When we left around 5pm, i waited like 15 mins tops. It was in my opinion and appears by the post as well that this was the most quiet weekend everywhere. It was weird but alot of empty coves on Mochoppy.

Like it when not crowded and having to dodge lake lice.
