Anybody Have Any Pics Or Video From Aha I Wanted To Make It Up But Got Stuck Down River With Some Friends

I heard the federalies were cracking down on the afternoon racing at AHA, with all the hype about AHA around here Im not surprised at all.
We could hear people making passes in the morning from Water Wheel, sounded great!

I was gonna head out sat. morning until I talked to my bro. He got to mayflower fri night and cops were rollin thru asking lots of questions. Also heard the ghetto bird was making passes over aha fri. night. Also I found a quart of water in my oil pan, So with all that weighing I stayed home.

Skipped on Aha on Saturday as well. I didn't need Parker SWAT messing with my weekend so I went back up to Big River.

Talked to Shoe on Sunday. The Water Cops said they would write anyone making passes on the Lagoon for the wreckless use of a water vessel because it was crowded. That was Saturday night. After cops left I took the Sleeper out made 4 or 5 passes off the Nos. Need more tuning with the new set up: GPS'd at 90 on the lagoon approx 1,000 ft run no Nos 5,700 rpm's bad air at 105+ temp.
Sunday night was a different thing. Great racing,some passes in the 120's I would guess. Only 1 idiot on a Sea Doo to deal with. Can't wait to come back. My bro and I met some great people.
Dan where did you go on Sunday? Didn't see you up river at the sand bar.

I think your setup is right on the top end but your starting line setup still needs some work. But that Ferd sounded great! Pat

We went down river with the family. I took the kids tubing and skiing. I saw ya running, looks good. I was up on the docks watchin everyone run. Had to get off the water to enjoy some cocktails! :D

I'm kind of glad the Nitrous system was jacked up. We have a lot more tuning to do before we worry about hitting the button.
Got some very useful info from GS Marine on Sunday. Greg was very helpful and we appreciate his time and advice. Both he and LGdevil reminded me about being careful on my high speed shut downs. For me to feather out the back end a bit more instead of chopping the throttle. I took them for their word on Sunday when I did some testing on the lagoon. Thanks guys... I don't need to get spit out of that thing.
We'll be making some adjustments over the next couple of weeks. I'm thinking we can get 95+ off the bottle.:D

I was looking for you at the sand bar on Sunday, I was going to take you for a ride. We went down to Martinez on Monday to see our friends down there. Hit the water at 11:00 made a run to Picacho and only saw 6 boats in 14 miles.
The boat ran great. Still needs a little tuning on the carb it's running rich, getting a little soot on the back of the boat. But other than that I have no complaints.
We'll see you later the month.

We were watching from the docks, and I saw flashes from the beach on the otherside of the lagoon. Someone has pics.
The best noise was from a Blown Inj Alc hydro V-drive. He did not make a full pass but got on it for a few seconds. Dang that was loud.

But I was on the water between 8-9am with a 650 Stand up Ski, loved the water, almost no one was out there.
