Parker pics... circa 1979

I found a bunch of old negatives from the old days with the first wife and am in the process of scanning them all. Most of them are from the late 70's to around 1984 (when she was let go). What a trip.... I'll post later.

Well, here's a few from around 1979. If you look REAL hard you CAN see boats. As I remember, these were taken on a big holiday weekend (Mem Day, 4th, Labor Day). These were taken down at what was known as Bluewater Marina (where the casino is now). Back then, you just pulled your truck up alongside the river, maybe put up a tent, and partied.
There's a reason croche'd (?) bathing suits never caught on. Yup, it's the first wife.

This girl's name is Denise, and a bunch of us rented a motorhome around 1980. I think this is at Roadrunner, but not sure. Back then you woke up when the first boat fired up and you grabbed a Michelob. Explains why I don't remember a lot of it.....

Being cool around 1977-1980 was having the paint and shag carpet in the van match the boat......:D :D

Very cool pictures....around that time (early 80s) my parents would camp at riverland. I remember waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore and boats doing early morning high speed passes.
