You'll have to imagine it with the full canopy on it for now. It is always hard trying to figure out graphics for the first one out of the mold, so I went kind of plain. I like it.
Here are some photoshops of what it should look like with the canopy.

That's funny. The second one is already being sprayed. It will be a crawl through bow rider. I should have pictures of it next week some time.
This one is fresh out of the mold. It isn't even sanded and buffed yet. It is off to be fitted for a trailer and gas tanks.

Is the canopy going to be clear or smoked? Is the bottom based off the other Stealth models or is this a completely new bottom?

Whole new boat top to bottom. It should run pretty fast and handle the chop very well.
The canopy can be clear or have a very slight bronze tint to it. Most people that have seen the samples like the tinted one best.

I'll show this to Sara when she gets home to night.

Wow, this boat didn't last long. A lurker from the boards called me within an hour of the pictures being posted. It looks like it is sold. I was origianlly going to put an HO in this one, but it might be getting a 525 now. We'll know more in the morning. I will continue to post the progress of the boat as it comes along. I hope to have it done by early October. The second one is coming out of the mold next week. It will be done by early October. It is getting an HO and it is already sold to someone that only saw the rendering of the boat and ordered one. It will be going to the Hot Boat evals.

Nice!!!!! I didn't figure it was going to be around long. Like was said above....it's amazing looking. The only other boat out there that looks that good sitting still is the Adrenaline but I like this one better too and it's got some "classic" Ultra that still tie it in. Very nice JW as usuall!!!. This and the 26 deck are going to keep you guys busy all winter for sure....oh yeah these and that little 32 too:D :D

Over the top like we do on the 28 and 24 Stealth.
Any straight trades for a 24 Stealth????? Haha
Seriously though, what's the extra running surface over the 24? A foot, foot and a half? How will that equate to better rough water handling on Havasu? I mean the 24 handles very well but with the washing machine water these days there are a few bumps you just can't get away from and my arms hurt from driving instead of just cruising straight when you get near the center of town and such.
<-----Would own a few different Ultra's for different types of boating days if he was rich.

I will post pictures of the crawl thru bowrider next week. We actually have a mold to form the full canopy that had to be made. So in order to do a walk thru style boat we would have to modify the canopy after it was formed as a full canopy. I'm sure we could do something if someone were to want one, but we don't currently have any plans on doing one that way standard.

My opinion for what its worth:confused: Plain colors or just a couple of colors on a boat regsardless of the quality just make it look sort of plain Jane. To the purist that can appreciate the package as presented they are cool, such as the Boss Cat by Conquest (that is now for sale), it was built for the owner and was at the L.A. show, its the all silver one. I've seen it in person up close and it is, IMO, awesome, but to many others who have seen it, they have said it has no "pop" when you see it and in reality it doesnt. Boats need to spark the eyes balls and nothing does that like tasteful graphics & colors of which Ultra has done a great job of in the past. As nice as the lines are of this new hull it just doesnt "POP", again JMO. NSF

I have heard that the past two years.
After another season of no boat, you will be going nuts.

I have only been boatless since March and I have always had a ride this year. ;) But with RedRider selling his Howard I will be down a choice next summer.
I am either buying a 230 SeaDoo or a 42' Maxum. Just trying to figure out if I want a $250 payment or a $2000 payment. :D
But really... I like the 26 Ultra and I am no way spending over a buck on a boat in the near future. This one might fit in my pocketbook.

I spoke to Ultra last Monday, and they tell me that we will have it on the water on Decemeber 5th for the Photo shoot and Eval, But I somehow don't think its going to make it again. Too many things left to do and I don't see how it will be done in time.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone...

Here are some pics from this afternoon. No interior in it yet, but we wanted to test it out, so we bolted a couple of bucket seats in and went to the lake. Don't even ask how fast it went, because I don’t want any exaggerated speeds being thrown around. Obviously the speeds will be different once the boat is completed, so I will wait to post speeds until next week.

Good Evening,
I just wanted to give you some up dates on the Blue/Silver canopy 26 Stealth. I met with John West and Jason today and spent almost three hours at Ultra Today. As I expected, I was treated very nice and it was a pleasure seeing John and his crew. I met Mike and Casey and several other employees and they were all very helpful , respectful and mostly very insightful. Thank you all at Ultra, great Crew John.
As far as the Boat, I will let John or Jason do the posting of photos and any and all technical information to be put out by them. It is a Beautiful Boat, and everything is looking fantastic. John should have it out to the Eval Thursday or Friday at Parker. Thank you JW and the Ultra team, My Son and I appreciate all you are doing and how you have treated us.... Many of my friends are boat owners and You will have many referals.

Just a minute to indulge you with a cool John West story. I consider the boat company owners as celebrities since I am so into the boating scene...they are my heroes!!! I was sitting one early morning in Havasu in the cove at Nautical Inn....John walked up to me and recognized me from a Discovery Channel show I was hosting..it was a lame show and had been cancelled after 8 episodes....he told me his wife was a big fan of mine and the show and they loved it...I knew this was likely an exaggeration 'cause the show (Backyard Brigade) blew ass...he made me feel very confident and proud and treated me like a celeb that morning!!! Since then he has done lots more TV and is well-known. I will always hold close the memory of that morning in the cove, meeting someone I looked up to and getting kudos from him. Kinda like your favorite rock or sport star complimenting you...really a small but memorable incident for me.
I know that someday I will be a customer of the Ultra Family....some many boats, so little years!!!!
Thanks John.....:)

No, just dirty boxers and a sweaty t-shirt (like a real man!!!):D
And.....if I would have seen that 32 Shadow before I bought the F-29, it would have been THE BOAT....not sure John would do an open bow; would ruin the front deck lines!!!! That may be next year's project with some Viper 710s!

Thanks for sharing BB, thats exactly what I am referring too. A true man knows where he stands, and sometimes that little thought and effort to make someone else feel good or Make their day, should not be weigh about how we want to feel about ourselves, but how we can impact someone elses life by a small gester but Huge to the recipient.
