Damn Tom, I was sure you were an early riser (going after the slips at KL at 5am and sh*t). :)
Pretty sure I saw you go by, headed North (probably to Gasoline Alley) around 11am or so, maybe a little later. Like I said, biggest Red EZ-UP on the beach, cabinsite cove. :)

Just took the PADI Open Water class out of Sport Chalet. Cabinsite Cove has a school bus and a van sunk in it, as well as a boat about 2 coves up. That's why we make the drive from Vegas to there. :)

There is a old west ghost town under water just past Site 6 at the end of the island. Kind of in the middle, somewhat near the California side of Havasu. The saloon is still there with glasses and bottles, a livery stable, a jail and a hotel from the old days way before they built all the dams to control the Colorado river. I heard you can even swim through the windows of the hotel and the stable. I have the GPS coords around somewhere. Since it's about 20ft in depth where the town is, we should have about 45min or more air time to find it. We should make it a two tank dive.
I have a friend that is a master PADI instructor who also wants to go. In the winter the visibility is really good. Let's plan a dive in January or February 2008. Bring a full wetsuit or drysuit. I have always wanted to do the dive. I also understand there are a few P6 Spitfire airplanes down there that overran the old airport runway.

Ohhh, that's the event where all you outboard guys hang out whever the fast boats don't. :rolleyes: If I recall I told you clowns to go down river.............none did.
I also remmeber a BBC taking the rubber chicken. And it was done with a cruiser family boat.
Keep your BBSP in the reeds where it belongs. That way you can garuntee that no fast BB powered boats will show up. Well except for the family cruisers out for a Sunday stroll on the water. ;)

I understand that some of you guys have this inate need to BS for any reason, but that's not my reason for being on this, or any other board. I'm here to meet COOL people, with similar interests and have fun.
Your I/O is faster, fine. Bring it up, show us, then have a beer/water and enjoy being on the lake. There are a few OB guys that didn't show last time out, and probably won't this time, but nevertheless there are a few, that give MANY I/O's issues. Sitting behind the keyboard, never showing your face to the public on this board in real life is just sh*t talking. :idea:

Wife and i were at the IHBA Pheonix opener racing last BBSP,or we probably would have been there.I really want to see more outboard boats at the drags as they have classes for anything that can run around 80 mph in the 1/4 and lets face it everone has to start somewhere
10.4 ET is very respectable for a 21 Daytona that doubles as a full time lake boat

I was at the 2005 BBsp and there was at least one or more OBs that would of sawed me off easily,in fact a honest nine second (probably quicker) flat on 400hp of spray showed up and a certain Mirage (not mine)paired up and ran to 110mph (around 1/8) and nosed the flat out:idea:
