All I did was drink beer, waterski and BBQ.
In that order.......
First you have to get by the pumps.

Then rip it up.

The camera couldn't even catch me. :D
Or the sticks.

Thanks, there's alot to say about burning a whole tank of gas in a ski boat to
get away from everyone.
Specially on Labor day weekend. :) :) :) :) :)
There really wasn't much to take pics of, some people look for people we look
to get away from them. For half the day anyways.

We used to launch at Knights landing and ski all the way to Meridian/riverbend and sometimes close to Grimes
Once you got ten miles up river from KL you would hardly see another boat even on the weekends, havent been up there for a couple of years now:confused:
The second pic is real cool, that is some nice acceleration:sqeyes:

Nice, great pis, I remember seeing my dad ski like that down the ol river. Now a days its albout the wakeboarding. We (my ex and I) are teaching our boys how to ski before they can board, just old school I guess. Nice shots. Where is that?

Ahhh...a true waterskier. I must have passed up 50 wakeboard boats before we out distanced them.
I did exactly the samething with my kids, they learned to waterski first.
Wakeboarding revived the boating industry but I'm just a hardcore waterskier,
that's pretty much all I do. Although I have been seen wakeboarding once.
I try and keep my sweet skiing spots a secret, I'll just say it takes a lot of gas to get where I was at in those pics.

I was sking on Kidders when the first generation KD's came out, it was time to move up so I bought the purple KD 7000.
After skiing on the 7000 for about 6 years I decided to step up to the CR7.
I'm glad I did it's alot faster and lighter than the 7000. I didn't think there would be that much difference but there is.
They pretty much handle the same but the CR7 accelerates quite a bit faster across the wakes. Very predictable and very fast.
A thrill to ride.
