hey guys just bout a 73 southwind with a 427 in it and its giving me some problem in the morning it will start up fine take off fine and run great till i go to stop an the motor just dies and it wont start for an hour or so later and run slike crap for the rest of the day...any ideas on what this could be???

One drop of water turning to steam in the distributor cap and making the spark go wild after that. My best quick guess.:)

its a new billet msd

have you checked for water in the fuel tanks? as it sits the water and fuel will seperate over night. fire it up and take off and it starts mixing again and causing your poor running condition. do you run a water seperator?
