Any happenings in Miami November 1st weekend?

We are going to Miami for a few days at the beginning of November. Are there any boat-related things to see and/or do? We are looking into a snorkel trip, but though a boat show would be cool, too. My buddy is looking for an ocean boat, it would be nice to see what's up on that coast.

not much going on in miami unless you have a 40 cary or a fountain they do a poker run annually but i have not kept up on whats goin on, palm beach here.had an off shore power boat (no where to go)unless you want to impress people on beach no wake zone everywhere. sold mine went back to a jet boat run the lakes river (st johns)or where ever i can get away with it.:)
