I am soooo not happy with the way the truck looks
hubby brought it home, and I said take it back
the rims(20!) need at least 37 omg it has 35s
I sure home they can fix it
turns out the front bumper, is causing the tires to rub
hell, I say go higher on the lift, or something...
i think I'm going to cry
Not trying to threadjack
just needed to VENT
Dang didnt know i could get so pissed ...

http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q71/eazykiller2006/trucklifted004.jpg
the ride is nice tho ...
so, if we dont have to go higher, and can fit the 37's
i would be happy...

Truck looks good but would look better with the CST lift as it is on the light blue one to bad you cant trim these bumpers anymore due to the chrome, you have to at least go 8in to fit 37's on it, I had my old HD with 37's and 20 in rims with the CST 6-8" lift and it looked perfect but had to trim the valance a little bit. See if they can just put some torsion keys to lift it a couple more inches:idea:, Good luck!!

yea, thats what they said they were going to try and do tomorrow...
if we did go higher, how would the ride be? with the higher lift...

Ride was smooth with the 8in and the torsion keys but I had dual bilstein 7100's in the front and single 7100's in the rear with the reservoirs, looking to maybe do the same with my new 07 HD but here is an old pic of my old HD loved the truck and the look but it was gas:( but the new Duramax is awesome:) http://***boat.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=39597&stc=1&d=1190263829http://***boat.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=39598&stc=1&d=1190263838

You know what you could use..... is to fire up the Hitachi Magic Wand and let it purr you into a better place.

Well I never towed my boat in my sig, 26 Ultra without airbags when I first lifted it I did it with blocks and stock springs, but before I bought my New 26 I put ride rite air bags with the spacer for lifted trucks and Atlas leaf springs and I never even felt the boat behind me rode so smooth:)

Because with the HD's if you dont have a load behind you, sometimes it feels like the bed is going to fly off. but I think that may be all Heavy Duty trucks IMO

Your going to need to go 35" on 6 " lift or can go 37" with an 8" lift but you will still need to cut away some of the side of the front bumper.... be carefull 6" with 35" tire have not been having problems 8" with 37" have been having the check engine light come on...
