My wife was admitted into the hospital on Monday @ 4:00pm. She was given a cervical gel to help dialate. She started labor/contractions yesterday at 9:00am and is currently dialated to 5. Two nights for me and the wife in the hospital........so far! Looks like it's going to be a looooooooooong week.
Good news is the doctor said the baby (it's a boy) will be born TODAY!
Prayers are welcome. :)
Sorry about the spelling. I've had 4 hrs of sleep in the last 52 hrs. :(

This is very hard on her. My wife went through the same thing for 22 hours and she couldn't eat a thing.
We ended up just doing a C-Section.
Congrats and good luck!

Poor thing. She must be exhausted. With my second I had contractions 10 min apart for 24 hours before I went into the hospital. I got absolutley no sleep during that time. Then I had another 10 hours in the delivery room before he decided to show up (after the vacuum and forceps). I remember I just could not physically push anymore.
Best wishes to you and your wife on the new addition! Can't wait to see the pics (not of the delivery, just of the baby :D )

As I understand it, time in labor is directly related to the spent during conception.
Good job! http://www.***boat.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif
I don't see you around so I hope you've had the baby by now. Congratulations and I hope momma and son are happy and healthy. :)

Thanks to all for your support. We finally had the baby at 9:14pm. She dialated to 10, started to push and the doctor said.......there's no way this baby's coming out this way so c-section it was. 8lb 13oz 21 inch baby boy.
My wife is 5'0 107lbs (prior to preg). When the doctor said the baby was to big for vaginal delivery everyone looked at me like it was my fault.  I'm only 6'0 265lbs. I don't get it. :D
Thanks again. Hope to be in Havasu for a few days in a couple weeks. I think we'll need some time to relax and catch our breath. ;) :)
