I've been there and wouldn't do it again. C-notch of the frame, cutting the bed, unsafe and worthless to scrape the frame. Unless it's going to be a show truck only.
Go mild to wild and you'll be thankful. Go wild and it's all about headaches.

Have the wrong shop do the work and this can certainly be the case. However, I know several guys that reliably tow enclosed trailers with their bagged and body dropped duallys.
Give Devious Customs in Riverside, CA a call and Jeff can set you straight. He's built a ton of duallys that still pull double duty and tow safely.

I daily drive a bagged diesel 2500HD with zero problems. Have for three years now.
To do the kit right is about a 7K-9K kit plus install. Again, doing it right is going to cost you 3K-4K to do.
Not cheap, but totally pimp. I get seriously better mileage than I did when I had the same truck lifted with an RCD 6" kit and 37" tires... like 10+ mpg better. No dirt thrown up on the boat, much, much, MUCH more stable towing and is absolutely the balls to hook the boat up with. Dump the back, back under the hitch, pump it up... done.

Bagged and dropped is what i would call mild to wild. As a daily driver it's fun to drive.
Go to bagged, notched, body drop and it's a whole other league and price and i would call that WILD.
Maybe i'm just not into that laying the rockers on the ground.
I hope my first post didn't come across negative.
It's just that I had a truck laying on the ground so low that it was impracticle. Even with bags and such. I eventually went back up a few inches and got tires with a little more sidewall because hitting potholes and bending my Boyd's started to suck after a while.
Good luck in your ventures.

This has been my hauler for the last 5 yrs. the trailer behind it is about 15,000 lbs. Bags do nothing to make it unsafe. Take a look at all of the diesel rigs rolling down the freeway and you gueesed it there bagged.

Who said bags were unsafe?
That's a nice setup you have.
I just had a bad experience and i'm just passing on my .02 cents. In my first post when i said unsafe i should have been specific. Unsafe angles on ball joints is unsafe.
