Do you have the gauge? If so, what does the connector look like? If it's a 3 wire white connector with a weatherpack type seal, might be the same one you can get from Rex Marine.

I think on the Livorsi the connector is attached the autometer version you need to solder the connector on.

I know when I bought my speedo and antenna from Rex, I was thinking how much more expensive those antenna's are than the standard GPS antenna's.
The back of the GPS speedo has 3 pins, which corresponds to a power, ground and signal. Garmin sells several GPS receivers that will work with this I believe.
When I bought mine from Rex, I believe I got the old Garmin GPS35, which was the old style black computer mouse looking thing. That has since been discontinued, but Garmin now offers a GPS 16 and GPS 18, both of which are in the $60-$90 range.
Now we just have to figure out which one will work with that speedo (or why they won't).

I bought my antenna [ GPS 18 ] for my Gaffrig speedo , from GPScity . It only needs a 5 V power supply , or a 5V voltage regulator to reduce power from the boat's 12 V system .

When I was installing marine electronics I used 3M Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connectors (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3MElectrical/Home/ProductsServices/Products/?PC_7_0_21K4_nid=ML8H4M2H8SbeH8665PJ911gl)... Saves time sodering connections.

Quick tip
After you buy it, mount it under you dash it will still work as long as your dash is fiberglass:)
I just hate seeing the antenna mounted on top of the dash when it you dont have to.

Called Garmin and both their GPS16 and GPS18 units should work. GPSCity has these. The Autometer gauge head puts unregulated power out to the receiver, so you have to make sure you pick the one that accepts +12v DC. Here are the two I believe they would be:
http://www.gpscity.com/item-garmin-oem-16-hvs/oem16hvs.htm $92
http://www.gpscity.com/item-garmin-gps-18-pc/oem18pc.htm $69 - this one you would have to cut the wires yourself and pick the power/ground/signal. Should be red/black/white.
