Lake James Water Level Report

Hi All, glad everyone is coming back again this year. Cant wait to see everyone again! We camped over labor day weekend and as everyone has heard, the lake level is way down. I thought I would show a few pics of where the shallow spots, rocky areas, and areas now out of the water are located. When we camped, the lake was 9 feet below full pond, however we have had a few down pours and it has come up since to 7.6 feet below full pond (I just checked yesterday and it was 7.5, so it is dropping again!). This report is from when we camped, so conditions, and the highlighted areas, have improved slightly. I have highlighted some areas in red and placed a short description with red arrows. Let me know if you have any questions about these areas or about Lake James in general. I will do my best to help and have lots of resources to help me answer any questions. i am staying at the holiday inn .can i follow some one who knows the way? this will be my first trip to lake james and would not care to find the shallow spots alone.:confused:
