View Full Version : Havasu 2/25
Friday about 10am I get a call from my wife Sara at work, she has the typical things to say like how's your day going on so on, then she catches me totally off guard and mentions it's going to be like 80 out in Havasu and would I like to go.. well duh, so we leave about 8pm and get to the boat
storage about 12:30am and to the room about 2:00am you know you lose an hour in AZ. we get some sleep and get up like at 10:00 or 11:00..Put the boat in the water and run up to the channel, then to steamboat, Back to BML for lunch and then down to the springs for the rest of the day....
what a day hardly anyone on the water and the weather couldn't be better...

Damn. I knew I should have left earlier in the day. We pulled a round trip with a stop over in Havi for dinner. We left home at noon and got back at 2am this morning. We just made a quick trip to pick up some stuff in storage. Looks like you had a great day on the water. I'm so jealous! :)

Saturday was definitely a beautiful day on the water. It was even better because it was my son's first trip on the boat. I'm pretty sure he loved it, because he had no problem falling asleep as we were cruising along. 5 weeks old, and already a river rat! Can't wait for his next Havasu trip at the end of March.

Gotcha beat. Had my boy out at two weeks. Something about the roar of the Merc puts them kids right to sleep.

This scene looks a little familiar :cool: Just firmed up plans last night; our "little" group is now 8 sites in a row and growing...Always room for 1 more. Did I tell you my trailer is a 2004 w/ 2 slide?LOL!

It was a beautiful day on Saturday. Ran down to Black Meadow Landing and hung out in the channel....it was 83 and sunny. :)

Saturday was a great day! Warm enough for bathing suits! Had a wonderful time and it was great to meet a few of you! (Mr. & Mrs. Racer, SummitKarl, Trimman and a few others) Came home late Sunday afternoon. Its always hard to leave! :cry:

I'm glad someone was productive out there, I felt so out of place not doing or fixing something on our house there. Have to wait for our snowbirds to migrate north again :) I drove home Sunday and still finished my garage
cleaning project.
