Onions...Good or Bad Experiences?

I think onions are good 'cause they help chilli, liver, burgers, etc. They help food do its job.
However, onions can get out of hand if left to their own.

I have a GREAT onion pie recipe with vidalias. People always freak when I talk about an onion pie but I've never heard anyone say they didn't love it. It's incredible!!

onions are a crying shame.

Red onions taste the best raw, whites will take your breath away.

I still find it hard to beat the taste of Maui Onions overall.
grilled and/or saute'd is my preferrence.
