Any thoughts on a Hypertech for a 2006 LBZ, good or bad? I have heard a few good things and can get one for $325.

I do not know about hte Hypertech for the LBZ. iIhad it on my suburban and it was great. I have the Bully Dog Power Pup for my 2006 LBZ and like it alot. The best price I found was here. www.concoursdirect.com

The hypertech is nice but defuels badly on setting 3, I like the superchips flashpaq better. It is more expensive but has code reading ability and is internet updatable. Not saying the hypertech is bad, it's a good piece for the price if you don't want to spend the $$$ for a box (Bully Dog, edge, .etc.).

Thanks for the info. The guys at AZ Speed & Marine told me the Hypertech would be a very good set-up for me. I don't want to race the truck but I do a ton of towing. They said this will keep my EGT's down and shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Make sure you get the newer max energy Hypertech and not the old PP3. The new one can be upgraded right from your PC and has some nice features. Hypertech has stopped supplying the old PP3 now and some dealers are blowing them out cheap.

Thank you. I picked up the max energy yesterday and I love it. Feels like a different truck. Thanks to everyone for the info.
