Well thought I would never do this but he goes.
1985 21' Eliminator Daytona
When I purchased the boat it only had 10 hours of use on it as the original owner who I purchased the boat from did not winterize the motor and cracked the block so there it sat since 1986 untill I purchased it a few years back. Hull and motor now have approx. 30 hours on it.
Hull is in near perfect or new condition and has been reworked by Irwin Capps who did the bottom work (setback, drop keel, bubble, blueprint, and race intake) Boat is a lighter lay-up and really handles nice.
Interior is new and custom matched to the colors in the hull.
Autometer gauges and depth finder.
Pump has been worked by HTP from the custom shoe, loader, ride plate ect
Aggressor intake, Berkley suction, Jet-away, mechanical seal, Aggressor 9 vein bowl, snoot, diverter with nozzle insert, prime-a-jet, inducer, flowed and worked Bronze A aggressor impeller. Manual diverter
Motor is a 540 Dart
Billett splayed main caps
4340 crank
H beam rods
Isky full Mech roller
325 Dart pro 1 aluminum heads, Titanium retainers Manely valves, Inconel Exhaust valves
Blower shop intercooler
Weiand 6-71
2-750 holley carbs
10 quart pan
Msd ignition and blower box
Arp bolts and stainless fastners
Braided lines on everything.
Motor dyno at 955 hp at 6200rpm at 9 lbs boost on 110 octane
Motor makes more HP it kept climbing on the dyno but thats as far as we took it. I have the dyno sheets.
Boat is setup to run 93 in one tank with a 4900rpm rev limiter and 110 in the other with a 7000rpm rev limiter using a electronic fuel switching valve, switch over on the go:D
I have put my heart and soul into this boat it is truely a 100 mph jet boat no Ebay speeds;)
I had it up to 110 with three in the boat last Sunday and it handles like a dream, that was only WOT for 1/2 mile or so:D
My wife and I are going to be looking for a bigger boat since we are looking at trying out Lake Michigan as its only 2 hours away, also starting a family soon so need to find a more (kids safe) boat for a while.
I am asking $16,000 for boat minus motor and $35,000 as it sits.
I have lots of pics but here is a few for now.

Ron Dane.. Here you go again.. Running you mouth when you don't own a boat!
Okay the boat isn't a steal, But far from a rip off.
Do you have any Idea how difficult it is to find one of these hulls?.. Let alone one in this good of shape. Or how much money it costs to build a 900+ HP blower motor?
Your just a little sour because you probably cant afford it so you have to put this guy down. I bet if he did lower it to 18k with motor you still wouldn't buy it. So go suck your mom's tit and go away!
Bump for a bitchin boat! I hope someone from here buys it so I can see it on the river!

Thanks for the good word;)
I drove all the way from WI to Seattle to buy the boat so I know how hard it was to get one.
And Yes there is allot of money in this boat but if you want to go fast you have to pay the price for sure;)
Hope whoever buys it can end there search for a kick ass ride and enjoy it for years to come as its a turnkey 100mph boat.
I would actually like more to sell it less the motor and keep the motor for my next boat:idea:

dude, that shit is uncalled for in this section! wet is sellin a practically brand new boat, maybe you should price 1 and see what a similiar equiped tunnel would cost ya to build. we've got some of the same views about htp but you don't have to attack every thread that they get mentioned in.can't remember wet ever mentioning or attacking you or your boat:rolleyes: in any threads.
wet, good luck in the sale man!! if i had the $$$ i'd be all up on it;) very nice and clean boat:devil:

Bump for a Clean Daytona...
hey Wet what is that under the jet intake?

wet77
09-25-2007, 05:33 PM
That would be a save-a-jet from HTP
Worth its weight in gold if you ask me!
I could not beleive the amount of crap I found in the old pump pulling it back from Seattle, rocks, road tar, sticks, ect...
It mounts to the trailer and keeps the pump debrise free on the road:devil:

Hello, I think I remember this boat being for sale up here in Monroe Washington a few years ago. It was cheap to like $8500.00 or so?? But the motor was locked up from one of our winters in a car port or something? I was tring to scratch together a few bucks to buy that boat when you purchased it. I was a day late and a dollar short L.O.L.Never the less it was a great score. I agree with you on finding one of these hulls in decent shape. I went to Tennessee two years ago to pick up a 21 Daytona. Awsome boat just wasn't into the colors, but had no problem selling it. I am trying to put together a 540 blower motor for my Cougar 21mtr this winter and they are definatly not cheap. Anyway good luck with your sale and your price is more then fare in my opinion.

Sounds like the one I bought and yes it was from Monroe WA
I did not get the motor with the boat though and allot of the other mounts were missing too.
Its got a one off custom detailed rail kit now:D
Oh yeah I forgot to mention I won a 1st prize at a car show this summer when I entered the boat in the special interest class:D

If I remember right I purchased it back in Febuary of 2004
I went for a ride in a friends 21' Daytona and was sold on how it handled the rougher water without bouncing you out of the seat. Unlike my 18' maverick I had at the time.
Ask anyone who has been in a Daytona they ride like there on rails:devil:
I had the boat last year with just a 700HP 540 no blower and it ran low 80's
Then I made the mistake of riding in Duane of HTP's boat that was blown and I was hooked:D
I do not really know the true top speed as I have only held it to the floor for no more than 1/2 mile at a time. I did however see 110 with 3 people in the boat and we were still climbing like mad when I let off:devil:

Seriously nice boat wet77, surprised to hear your parting with it. But I can understand, it may not fair to well in Ocean Michigan . I can't believe that we (Wa state) lost a pickle. We pride ourselves on stealling all the pickles we can, and hording them to ourselves :D :D :D.
Despite what NOgane is saying, that sounds like a fair price for what your getting. Go ahead and do a google search, bet you only find 4-5 for sale listings. Not the best time of year to sell, but that thing is smokin, it'll sell !!!
Curoius about the straight snoot. I've got a droop, wondering out loud what the straight would do .
P.S. Like the new avatar !!!

Was this one of 2 boats that were for sale at the same time . One being a 19 ft the other this 21 ft. I think they were left behind in some realestate deal. The house that they were in the deal with was right on the water some where in WA. IF this is the boat it is bad A$$. I researched this boat to by it and i couldent duplicate it for 50,000. The guy i talked to about buying it from wouldent let me start it if i came out so i think it had a bad motor in it . He claimed he was scared to let some one start it in fear of the liability. He sold the boat to someone else who i think sold it to you less motor. Am i on the right track with my info?????????????? If so sweet boat i wish i bought it when i had the chance.
