I have a nice new 496 pump gas friendly engine forsale it will help you get to your 100 mph goal. only 5 dyno pulls on it I have around $14,000 invested in it and I will let it go for $9,000.
that along with some pump and bottom work will get you real close to your goal :)
if you plan on doing this IMO you are looking to spend around $20,000

Do you have a 19 Bonneville TR or 18 Bonneville?
100 mph in either hull will typically require a set back pump, a good tight pump with a good impeller, and about 800-850 horsepower. You can hit the mark even with a full interior w/coctail seating.
The bottoms of either boat are usually pretty straight and dont require blueprinting. Roger took good care of his molds so if there's any hook in the bottom, it will be mimimal.

I was going to write basically the same thing as Cyclone. As a Roger's owner myself, I can tell you that my bottom is absolutely straight and in need of no work. From what I've gathered over the years, you have the faster of the two Roger's Bonneville hulls. That being the case, it may be possible to hit your mark without even doing a set-back to the pump. Just add HP and see what happens.
The goal going into mine was to hit 100 also. I've got a light lay-up 19' TR with 800-850 HP(HP=$18K) and a fresh Berk w/Aggressor 'AA' M/B impeller. I came close(90 mph) without any hull mods. If I'd have done the set-back, who knows...
Nice looking boat, btw.

Save your money for when it's time to build the engine that you really want down the road.

He's got an 18 bubble.
That 18 isn't that much lighter than the 19tr, it just has a better bottom for going faster and circle racing. The 19tr has much more wetted surface with those dropped chines. Still, someday I'd like to have a tr too, they ride great.

I'd personally rather run big numbers in the Rogers with the drop chines, the 18 probably has less drag but less stable at higher speeds.
Love that pic Woods, that boat rides very nice, cant wait to see it run again at Ming..I think its going to run good! i think it will be in the 9s without any trouble.

That guy with the Halloween Rogers lags HARD, should be on the water by now. I think that motor build burnt him out a little bit.
I still dont think it will see H20 in 07, but its goning to fly when it does see water. The fuel/rcb blowout will be a great race.

You got that right, its already on the calendar. Should be a bad ass nitrous system if things go as planned.
RCB wont stand a chance :) he is going to learn the hard way. If you build a motor build it for N20 cause sooner or later you will want the squeeze.

Trust me you guys I have the itch bad to get it in the water but like Cs said I did burn a few candles building that motor. Certain parts need a trip through MPD. 200 shots are for fags. :yuk: Dont worry the 1031 will be on tip soon.
Balls you guys still planning on Yuma next weekend?? I think we are gonna roll out for sure.
